Nuno de Sá

Nuno de Sá has a background in law and management, and has shifted his training and practice towards the Creative Industries. In July 2012, Nuno graduated summa cum laude in the Master Degree in Management for the Creative Industries at the Catholic University of Portugal, with a dissertation on how to use public policy to fuel the creative industries in medium sized cities of great potential, such as Porto. By building a thorough theoretical approach, and interviewing entrepreneurs and artists, this investigation aimed at illuminating the inner workings of the creative and cultural sector in a more comprehensive fashion. The goal was to offer an agenda of disruptive and prospective ideas to be used by the public sector, a guideline for small to medium cities that ought to reap the multiple visible and invisible benefits that a thriving creative industries sector can offer.
